Political Correctness Is Intellectual Slavery

In my short fifty years on this planet I've noticed a disturbing trend by the Power Seekers to slowly but surely muzzle any speech that may offend the voters they're trying to attract.

It's not that they really care about these people issues it just adds to their power to control the opposition to their policies. All parties do this so we do have bi-partisan cooperation in the government.

This has resulted in living in a country where for all intents and purposes it's ILLEGAL to tell the truth if it offends anyone the Government of the day is trying to woo.

If you question anything about immigration your a racist. If you question anything about Family Law your a sexist. God forbid you question anything about sexuality or your a raving homophobic.

This condition does nothing but kill open discussion on any topic the Power Seekers wish not to discuss. Finding the truth in any situation can at times offend but that in no ways equates to hate or promoting hatred just because you state what you believe. If it did then the Liberal Party and all their supporters should be charged with hate speech due to their attack and promotion of distrust and loathing of gunowners. In their defense if they didn't do this they would have to admit their "Take A Punk To Lunch" method of crime control doesn't work.

They demonize smokers as if they are the minions of Satan himself but it's legal and they bank billions of sin tax dollars . For the costs to the Health System of course they cry in unison. Of course they just want stop the associated "Life Style" disease by nudging us in the direction they deem right. They do afterall know what's best.

Aside from tainted blood and the poor children born with it AIDS is a life style disease. You'll never hear this of course. Promiscuity and unsafe sex is the cause. But mention this and your homophobic because AIDS is most prolific in that community so we better muzzle that discussion. Is teaching teenagers about safe sex bad? Of course not but if your going to discuss it shouldn't they be given the full picture.

Immigration built this country. They is no question of this. But does that mean that when they come here our tax dollars should be used to help them keep their culture alive? If their community wants to keep their culture alive by teaching their children they can pay for it themselves. As long as they pay for it and understand that Canadian culture (yes we do have one) and traditions trump whatever they believe that's fantastic. I enjoy experiencing the culture of China,Japan,Korea, Russian to name a few. But I certainly don't want to live under their laws and traditions. If I did I would move there. I wonder what the immigration numbers from Canada to China or Russia is?

You will never be able to legislate a person into liking another. It's impossible unless you domesticate and enslave the human spirit. That would reduce us to nothing more than wealth generating units for the State.

Insults and Offence takes two people to be successful. Words cannot hurt you unless you have no self-respect. Despite what the Power Seekers tell us Self-Respect and Self-Esteem have nothing in common.

Self-Respect is attained by accomplishment. Be it small or large. That can never be taken away from you as it comes from within. Self-Esteem on the other hand is something that comes from external sources. Being told your as good as the next person, all evidence to the contrary, is detrimental to individual growth. Not only does it force a child to rely on the opinion of others it retards any chance of growth. Knowing your own weaknesses is your greatest strength as it allows you to work on them. Blaming others is a recipe for a "Persecution Complex" with it's addictive need for the Government to do something which always results in unaccountable power for them and loss of rights for us.

I can't be insulted. How can I possibly say this you may wonder? For example if you were to call me a short,fat,opinionated, racist, and liar. I would simply thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Not that I agree but because I am short,fat,and opinionated so I can't be insulted by the truth or I have no self-respect.I'm not a racist as I judge people on their character not the colour of their skin,and I'm not a liar so the fact you believe this is of no consequence to me. People that know me know this to be true.But what of the people who don't know me you may ask? Well if they want to believe this about me without verifying it they are mentally lazy so are of no consequence( to me).

Anytime you allow the Power Seekers to not only decide what we can talk about but the definition of the words, you live in a dictatorship. Period.

They love to say it's all to ensure that all people are "Equal and Free" but then again it's their defintion of equal and free. Biologically it's impossible for everyone to be equal so the only way to make it so is to restrict those that were genetically blessed. So in fact Equal and Free are diametrically opposed. So in reality free men aren't equal and equal men aren't free. Power seekers prefer not to recognize this fact as it doesn't fit their agenda.
